Our Return Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items. To be eligible:

  • Item must be unused and in original packaging
  • All tags and protective covers must be intact
  • Proof of purchase is required

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Custom fly tying materials (from Flies and Fly Tying section)
  • Personalized technical gear (from Fly Fishing Technical Gear section)
  • Any items that have been used or show signs of wear

How to Initiate a Return

Follow these steps for a smooth return process:

  1. Contact us within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with your order number
  2. Complete the Return Request Form (template below)
  3. Wait for our Return Authorization email with instructions
  4. Package your item securely in original packaging
  5. Ship your return to our New York facility (address below)

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Processing Time: 3-5 business days after receipt
  • Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)
  • Timeline:
    • Credit Cards: 5-10 business days after processing
    • PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing

Note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchange Process

For exchanges:

  1. Follow the same return process above
  2. Specify your desired replacement item in the request form
  3. We’ll ship your new item once the return is processed
  4. Standard shipping rates apply for the new shipment

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining your receipt until the return is complete.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your rod, reel, or technical gear arrives damaged:

  • Include photos of the damage and packaging
  • We’ll arrange a prepaid return label if needed
